Abstract

Purpose: This article aims to explore the significance of legal and legality aspects in corporate companies, focusing on their importance in managing operations and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. It emphasizes the role of legal compliance in company formation, licensing, and ongoing operations.

Research Methodology: The study adopts a descriptive analytical approach, gathering data from various sources including books, research papers, articles, and online resources. The information collected is analyzed and clarified to provide a comprehensive understanding of the topic.

Results: The findings indicate that legal compliance is critical for corporate companies to avoid legal disputes, manage third-party relationships, and protect intellectual property. Companies must establish a solid legal foundation by complying with national and international regulations, including company formation, business licensing, and data protection laws.

Conclusions: For corporate companies to thrive in a complex and competitive environment, it is crucial to ensure continuous legal compliance. Companies should either maintain an in-house legal team or collaborate with external law firms to manage legal risks, preserve reputation, and create a sustainable business environment.

Limitations: The study is limited by its focus on corporate governance in general without considering the specific legal challenges faced by companies in different sectors or regions. Future research could explore sector-specific legal challenges and their impact on corporate performance.

Contributions: This study contributes to the literature by highlighting the importance of legal and legality aspects in corporate governance. It also provides practical recommendations for companies to enhance their legal compliance, reduce risks, and foster business sustainability
